Biofuels Digest Index steadies at 62.80 as ethanol equities recover

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, steadied at 62.80, up 0.14 percent, as ethanol equities recovered. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) was up 8.70 percent to $0.25, while Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) jumped back 10.04 percent to $15.57. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) rebounded 7.00 percent to $2.71. Overall, declines led advances 11 to 4 for the day.
