Indonesian biofuel producers like to sue EU for anti-dumping duties

November 21, 2013 |

In Indonesia, the Indonesian biofuels producers association plans to appeal the anti-dumping duties imposed on its biodiesel imports into Europe via the European Court of Justice and are exploring at complaint at the WTO as well. Argentina has already said it will challenge Spain at the WTO for discriminating against its imports, and will likely challenge the EU now as well. At least one Indonesian producer who didn’t receive any temporary duties now will have to pay EUR76.94 per ton under the permanent five-year duties.
