Romania and Austria go in together on Romanian biogas plant

In Romania, the Romanian Commercial Bank has entered a financing deal with First Biogaz to construct a 1.5MW biogas plant in northern Romania. The plant represents a $8m investment, and the output will cover the energy consumption of around 4500 households. First Biogaz is a member of Austria’s Biogest, which has worked on over 90 biogas projects across Europe.
