Germany’s biodiesel exports soar, including some to the US

In Germany, biodiesel exports have skyrocketed with 330 million gallons shipped during 2013 through September, up 14% on the year. About 89% of that biodiesel was shipped to European countries with about a third going to the Netherlands. Even 30 million gallons went to the US, the first exports had been sent to that market. Imports during the period also fell by a quarter to just over 134 million gallons.
