In Canada, the anaerobic digestion facility at Growing Power Hairy Hill is utilizing Himark BioGas International’s patented IMUS technology to digest 73,000 Tons/Year of municipal solid waste and organics from residences and businesses in the metropolitan Edmonton region for conversion into renewable energy.

“Today the organic material that GPHH is handling is being diverted from landfills around Alberta. These include municipal Source-Separated Organic, food processing waste, and sewer sludge. These materials are converted to energy via accelerated natural breakdown processes in one of the largest AD plants in North America, thanks to technology and know-how from Himark BioGas,” said Eugene N.
