Vireol Bio-Industries seen re-opening Hopewell ethanol plant in 2014

In Virginia, Vireol Bio-Industries has unofficially announced that it will reopen the ethanol plant it bought in Hopewell rather than shipping it to the UK. The official announcement is likely to come in January with production starting back up again sometime in 2014. The turnaround in the plan to ship the plant to the UK due to a hitch in the funding mixed with improved fundamentals for ethanol production in the US.
