Biofuels Digest Index gains to 67.88 as late-year rally continues into Christmas

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, jumped 1.05 percent to 67.68 as 2013’s Santa Claus rally continued. For the day, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) gained 6.38 percent to $4.67, while KiOR (KIOR) lost 4.38 percent to $1.53. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) surged 6.83 percent to $3.91. Overall, advances led declines 9 to 4 for the day.
