December 24, 2013 |

In Michigan, Ford has published a study in Environmental Science & Technology showing that mid-level ethanol blends in a 2006 model year Mercury Grand flex fuel car showed significant emissions reductions compared to lower blends and that high blends didn’t have much better performance than mid-level blends. The vehicle was tested with E0, E10, E20, E30, E40, E55, and E80.
