Ethanol discount to gasoline widens as stocks continue to grow

In Illinois, ethanol prices are falling thanks to production above 900,000 barrels per day every week since October 25. More supplies have led to increased inventories, helping to increase the price spread between ethanol and gasoline. Ethanol futures prices have fallen 11% so far this year.
