Australian oil company secures CO2 from Nebraska ethanol plant for oil fields

In Nebraska, Australia’s Elk Petroleum will purchase carbon dioxide from Bridgeport Ethanol for 10 years to help supply its oil recovering project at the Singleton and adjoining oil fields. It’s expected to take up to three years for Elk Petroleum to build the CO2 compression and pipeline facilities in order to offtake from the ethanol plant.
