Sao Martinho’s ethanol production hits five-year high

In Brazil, Sao Martinho’s ethanol production hit a five-year high during 2013/14 at 639 million liters, up nearly 42% over the previous season. Anhydrous ethanol production was 387 million liters while the rest was hydrous. The cane crush was up 21%.  About 52% of overall cane crushed went towards ethanol.
