Biofuels Digest Index dips to 71.40 as Santa Claus rally cools

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dipped 0.65 percent to 71.40, as 2013’s Santa Claus rally finally cooled. Overall, the Index has surged nearly 14 percent in the past three weeks. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) slumped 6.15 percent to $1.68, while OriginOil (OOIL) plunged 27.27 percent to $0.16. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) fell back 7.03 percent to $5.29. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
