EIA says October biodiesel production highest since October 2011

In Washington, the EIA says that biodiesel production in October reached 132 million gallons, up from 127 million gallons the month before, and the highest recorded since the EIA started monitoring production in October 2011. Soy oil remains the main feedstock with 551 million pounds of oil used during October, compared to 502 million pounds in September.
