Biodiesel production capacity in the Philippines jumps by 70.3 million liters

In the Philippines, biodiesel producers have boosted production capacity by 70.3 million liters thanks to nine coconut-based facilities that came online and five that expanded production capacity. Though the country is planning B5 by 2015, the industry is pushing for a higher blend before then. A study commissioned by the government into available supplies and readiness to implement B5 is still pending.
