Maharashtra sees big opportunity for cane farmers with E10

In India, the Maharashtra state government says that by boosting ethanol production to 10% from the current 5%, sugarcane mills could earn enough to pay farmers INR3,500 per ton of cane, up from INR2,500 per ton now. That estimate is based on achieving 90 liters of ethanol from every ton of cane.
