European Court of Justice rejects BP bid to avoid biodiesel duties on US imports

In Luxembourg, the European Court of Justice has rejected BP’s request to be exempted from anti-circumvention duties levied on biodiesel imports coming from the US. The court said it denied the request because it says the company played a significant role in trying to circumvent EU rules that in part led to the anti- circumvention duties on US biodiesel imports.
