Explosion at North Mississippi Biodiesel causes local power outage

In Mississippi, an explosion at North Mississippi Biodiesel led to a fire that got too hot for firefighters to put out, so they decided to just let it burn itself out. The small business has five employees and two were on site when the explosion occurred, though they escaped unharmed. The explosion caused a temporary power outage in the nearby area. The state’s department of environmental quality was investigating any possible hazardous materials but none had been found as of Wednesday afternoon.
