Biofuels Digest Index rises to 71.41 as chemicals gain

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, advanced 0.28 percent to 71.41 as chemicals gained. For the day, Solazyme (SZYM) lost 3.44 percent to $11.52, while KiOR (KIOR) jumped 7.27 percent to $1.18. Among other equities, Biox (BX.T) fell 5.66 percent to $0.50. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
