December biodiesel imports breaks record with Argentine and Indonesia leading

In Washington, the US Census Bureau says that biodiesel imports in December broke the record set just the month before at 257,575 metric tons. Total biodiesel imports for the year rose more than 10 fold to 1.1 million tons following the re-introduction of the biodiesel blending credit in 2013. Argentina represented 40% of the imports while Indonesia accounted for 20%.
