Biofuels Digest Index settles back to 80.27

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, settled back 2.10 percent to 80.27 after Thursday’s record-setting trading. For the day, Amyris (AMRS) soared 21.43 percent to $4.79, while Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) declined 8,50 percent to $13.67. Among other equities, Biofuel Energy (BIOF) dropped 15.90 percent to $2.91. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
