Equipment from Aventine Renewable set to go up for auction

In Illinois, Maas Companies will auction $3.3 million of unused surplus activated carbon injection systems, scrubber equipment and particular baghouses through a timed, online auction ending Friday, March 28 at 4:00 p.m. central standard time. The equipment is located in East Peoria, Ill. Maas Companies specializes in liquidating specialized assets including ethanol and biodiesel plants and equipment.

The seller, Aventine Renewable Energy, Inc. is a leading producer of ethanol and related by-products that markets and distributes ethanol and co-products to leading energy and food companies in the United States and the globe. The surplus equipment is being sold due to a boiler upgrade at the plant.
