Investors looking to set up Zimbabwe’s third ethanol plant

March 4, 2014 |

In Zimbabwe, a group of local investors is looking to set up the country’s third ethanol plant, a move they say would create demand for 2,000 farmers and 5,000 direct jobs. The facility was originally planned for Masvingo before Green Fuel built its plant in Chisumbanje but now Zimbabwe Bio-Energy is looking at Nuanetsi Ranch in Mwenezi where it will benefit from water from the upcoming Tokwe-Mukosi Dam.
