The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, edged up 0.16 percent to 83.06 — a new 30 month high — as enzyme equities rose. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) surged 5.97 percent to $1.42, while Biofuel Energy (BIOF) plunged 13.89 percent to $3.10. Among other equities, Sacom (SAM.MI) plummeted 8.00 percent to $4.60. Overall, advances ;ed declines 3 to 2 for the day.
