New Indonesian owners of Spanish biodiesel firm lay off six after taking over

In Spain, trouble is brewing at Infinita Renovables shortly after being bought by Indonesian firm Masol Iberia. Employees and their families protested on Tuesday in front of the local authorities after six employees were laid off following the purchase of the plant. The facility had previously received EUR5 million in subsidies from the Galician government and another EUR5 million from the Spanish government but of the original 56 jobs at the plant, 37 have been eliminated over the year, including the most recent six.
