Biofuels Digest Index falls to 80.00 as ethanol sags

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, fell 1.23 percent to 80.00 as ethanol equities sagged. For the day, KiOR plunged 11.77 percent to $0.59, while Aemetis (AMTX) dropped back 6.45 percent to $0.60. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) settled down 7.42 percent to $15.84. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
