Biofuels Digest Index plummets to 76.62 as advance biofuels tank

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, plummeted 4.22 percent to 76.62 as advanced biofuels tanked.   For the day, KiOR plunged 21.28 percent to $0.47, while Aemetis (AMTX) sank 11.67 percent to $0.53. Among other equities, Solazyme (SZYM) dropped 11.80 percent to $11.54 on news of an impending equity raise. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
