Hong Kong looking to support local cooking oil recycling industry

In China, the local administration for Hong Kong estimates that 16,000 metric tons of used cooking oil is collected every year with about 11,000 tons being used for biodiesel production. The government and local recycling trade are working together to create a voluntary certification scheme for recyclers in an effort to create standards for the industry and boost confidence among the public to use recyclers.
