March 26, 2014 |

In Texas, the Hale County Commissioners have fined White Energy up to $19,000 for having failed to meet their 20 million gallons of annual production minimum requirement in 2013. The plant came within three days of meeting the target, despite having been mothballed for nine months last year due to high corn prices, but it still will have to pay the tax penalties.
