Brazilian ethanol production leaps during the first half of March

In Brazil, a boost in cane processing during the first half of March has seen ethanol production jump to 25.226 million liters, up more than a thousand percent over the same period last year when 2.173 million liters was produced. As many as 40 mills were expected to be online by the end of March. Rehydration of anhydrous ethanol continued throughout the period to supply demand for hydrous ethanol.
