Biofuels Digest Index drops back to 81.32 as advanced biofuels weaken

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, dropped back 1.92 percent to 81.32 on an advanced biofuels retreat.  For the day, KiOR (KIOR) slumped 11.61 percent to $0.72, while Amyris (AMRS) rebounded 3.97 percent to $4.19. Among other equities, Pacific Ethanol (PEIX) sank 8.64 percent to $15.76. Overall, declines led advances 2 to 1 for the day.
