Biofuels Digest Index slips to 80.74 despite renewable chemicals rise

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, slipped 0.36 percent to 80.74 despite a rise in renewable chemicals. For the day, KiOR (KIOR) fell 4.19 percent to $0.57, while Green Plains Renewable Energy (GPRE) slumped 3.14 percent to $29.58. Among other equities, Amyris (AMRS) dropped 5.28 percent to $3.59. Overall, advances and declines were even for the day.
