Valero to use Arisdyne’s controlled flow cavitation system

May 12, 2014 |

In Ohio, Valero Energy Corporation and Arisdyne Systems have entered into an agreement allowing utilization of Arisdyne’s Controlled Flow Cavitation system at Valero’s ethanol facilities. Arisdyne Systems, Inc. is the leading provider of retrofit equipment and value-creating services for fuel ethanol and biodiesel producers.

Arisdyne specializes in designing small footprint devices that utilize its patented controlled flow hydrodynamic cavitation and applies its CFC technology to increase yield for ethanol production from both starch and fiber, reducing chemical consumption for vegetable oil degumming and neutralization. In addition, reduced catalyst consumption for biodiesel production, increase methane gas yield and reduce solids at anaerobic digestion, and changes in viscosity and density of heavy crude oil.
