Minnesota’s B10 policy to boost biodiesel demand by 20 million gallons

In Minnesota, the B10 mandate will create an extra demand of 20 million gallons per year. The policy, that was meant to be implemented in 2013 but will instead be implemented this year, calls for B10 from April to September while B5 will be sold the rest of the year. Currently demand is roughly 40 million gallons annually. It is the first state in the country to mandate B10.
