Brazilian presidential candidates standing behind ethanol

In Brazil, the two main presidential candidates seeking to depose the current leader are both pushing for increased support of the national ethanol industry, accusing the current president of failing to properly support sugar and ethanol while favoring Petrobras. The candidates from the social democrats and the socialists are trailing in the polls but appear to be gaining ground.
