Ethanol production averages 938,000 barrels per day

In the US, ethanol production last week averaged 938,000 barrels per day, or 39.4 million gallons daily, up 11,000 b/d from the week before. Gasoline demand for the week averaged 382.4 million gallons daily. Expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 10.30%. On the co-products side, ethanol producers were using 14.222 million bushels of corn to produce ethanol and 104,684 metric tons of livestock feed, 93,326 metric tons of which were distillers grains.
