Biofuels Digest Index gains to 78.68 as ethanol advances

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 1.25 percent to 78.68 as ethanol equities advanced. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) rallied 2.84 percent to $7.98, while Ceres (CERE) was up 6.12 percent to $0.69. Among other equities, OriginOil (OOIL) soared 13.67 percent to $0.15. Overall, declines led advances 9 to 7 for the day.
