Biodiesel company sues over alleged breaking of NDA-protected secrets

In Virginia, Plant Oil Powered Diesel Fuel Systems has sued Waste Streams International, D.C. Biofuels, National Biofuels Holdings, Wendell Jenkins and John O’Brien for allegedly stealing NDA-protected secrets about POP Diesel’s biodiesel production technology that uses jatropha as feedstock. O’Brien allegedly secretly recorded a conversation where trade secrets were shared on his mobile phone under the table, and then shared that conversation that led to the development of an investment offer to do the same thing.
