Kansas ethanol plant explosion to cost $1 million to repair

In Kansas, an explosion at the Arkalon Energy plant in Liberal could end up costing $1 million to repair. The county fire chief says three walls were destroyed and panels blown off the window when part of the corn drying equipment exploded. No injuries were reported. Company and insurance officials say the explosion may have been triggered by natural gas.
