US ethanol production edging back towards record again

In Washington, the Energy Information Agency reported that ethanol production reached 953,000 b/d last week while falling ethanol stocks held steady at 18.204 million barrels, up just 21,000 barrels. West Coast stocks fell to a four-week low of 1.969 million barrels while Midwest stocks rose to a two-month high of 6.146 million barrels.
