Ethanol production up from last week at 40.03 million gallons daily

In the US, ethanol production for last week averaged 953,000 barrels per day (b/d)β€”or 40.03 million gallons daily, up 15,000 b/d from the week before. The four-week average for ethanol production stood at 952,000 b/d for an annualized rate of 14.59 billion gallons.

Stocks of ethanol stood at 18.2 million barrels, an 0.1% increase from last week.
Gasoline demand for the week averaged 385.1 million gallons daily. Finished motor gasoline demand has averaged approximately 139 billion gallons (annualized) since the beginning of May. Expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 10.39%, down from last week.
Imports of ethanol were non-existent for the sixth week in a row.
