Royal Swaziland Sugar produces less ethanol but sells more

July 7, 2014 |

In Swaziland, Royal Swaziland Sugar Co.’s ethanol production through March fell to 29.7 million liters from 31 million liters during the year before but ethanol sales were up at 32.6 million liters from 28.2 million liters the previous year. Production was down due to lower cane yields resulting from harvesting young cane when the heavy rains left little choice.
