Vermont’s bio-heat law to boost biodiesel demand

July 7, 2014 |

In Vermont, the state’s new bio-heat legislation should support demand for biodiesel as sulfur content goes from 500 parts per million on July 1, 2014, and 15 parts per million by 2018. Massachusetts and New Jersey have the same requirement. White Mountain Biodiesel says biodiesel has 89% less GHG emissions than regular heating oil.
