Biofuels Digest Index flat at 81.14 despite chemicals advance

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, was flat at 81.14 despite a chemicals advance. For the day, Aemetis (AMTX) was up 3.48 percent to $12.78 on news of a California Energy Commission award, while Metabolix (MBLX) rebounded 7.43 percent to $0.59.  Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) dropped 5.37 percent to $0.72. Overall, declines led advances 8 to 7 for the day.
