RIN fraudster to pay up to $6 million and 69 years in prison

In Nevada, the Australian indicted in federal court for $41 million-worth of RIN fraud equating to two counts of wire fraud and one count each of conspiracy, conspiracy to engage in money laundering and making false statements under the Clean Air Act, has pleaded guilty in a plea agreement. He must also forfeit $4 million, pay $1 million in restitution and may have to pay another $2 million in fines in addition to 69 years in prison.
