On the Move in the Advanced bioeconomy: Codexis, Flint Hill Resources

In Nebraska, Flint Hills Resources has hired Russell Leighton and Jeremy Morse to lead the Duonix biodiesel plant in Beatrice Nebraska. The biodiesel plant is part of a joint venture between Flint Hills Resources and Benefuel, Inc., known as Duonix, LLC. In May, Flint Hills Resources announced they would begin retrofitting the plant in preparation for the first commercial-scale use of an innovative biodiesel technology from Benefuel, Inc. called ENSEL. Leighton and Morse will serve as plant manager and production manager, respectively. More on the Duonix project here.

In California, Codexis announced that Gordon Sangster has agreed to join Codexis as Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer. Gordon, who will start on August 18, 2014, will manage all aspects of Codexis’ financial and accounting functions and will report to John Nicols, President & Chief Executive Officer. Dyadic International announced the appointment of Thomas “Tom” Dubinski as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Tom will be responsible for leading the financial and information technology operations for Dyadic and will succeed Michael Faby effective August 4, 2014. More on the story here.
