Valero to bring back online 110 million gallon Indian ethanol plant

In Indiana, Valero is bringing back online the 110 million gallon ethanol facility in Mt. Vernon. It’s the largest corn ethanol plant not currently operating in the US. Currently it is receiving corn and hopes to start crushing in September. Ethanol production should begin before the end of September. The facility has been mothballed for about two years.
