Biofuels Digest Index surges to six-week high of 81.88 as enzymes jump

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.99 percent to a six-week high of 81.88 as enzymes jumped. For the day, Biox (BX.T) surged 43.75 percent to $0.69, while Codexis (CDXS) leapt 6.07 percent to $2.62. Among other equities, Abengoa (ABGB) was up 5.36 percent to $28.72. Overall, advances led declines 2 to 1 for the day.
