Ethanol production drops again, stocks at 14-week low

In the US, ethanol production for the week before last averaged 913,000 barrels per day, or 38.35 million gallons daily, which is down 24,000 barrels per day from the week before. Stocks of ethanol stood at 17.3 million barrels. That is a 5.1% decrease from last week and a 14-week low. Gasoline demand for the week averaged 382.2 million gallons daily; expressed as a percentage of daily gasoline demand, daily ethanol production was 10.03%.
