Biofuels Digest Index advances to 6-week high of 83.20 as enzyme equities surge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, gained 0.40 percent to a 6-week high of 83.20 as enzyme equities surged. For the day, Gevo (GEVO) jumped 6.31 percent to $0.55, while Metabolix (MBLX) soared 5.80 percent to $0.72. Among other equities, Codexis (CDXS) rocketed up 8.27 percent to $2.75. Overall, declines led advances 9 to 7 for the day.
