Biofuels Digest Index is flat at 81.79 despite renewable chemicals surge

The Biofuels Digest Index, an index of publicly traded biofuels stocks, was flat at 81.79 despite a renewable chemicals surge. For the day, Metabolix (MBLX) soared 20.69 percent to $1.05, while OriginOil (OOIL) rocketed up 15.58 percent to $0.23. Among other equities, Gevo (GEVO) dropped 6.10 percent to $0.45. Overall, declines and advances were even for the day.
